Miochan

I used to say that I didn’t like Asian (mostly Chinese) female singers because they had weak voices. To be accurate, I used to say, “I don’t like weak Asian female voices.” They annoyed me to no end. They were squeaky and disturbing. Not all Asian female singers have weak voices though. I appreciated the strength of Coco Lee’s voice.

Back in the day, I might not have liked the songs in K-On!, but my new fondness for anime and acceptance of Jpop have changed me. Moreover, I actually like Miochan (Hikasa Yoko)’s voice. It’s really nice. And soothing. Maybe it’s in comparison to the other character, but still. I like it and I wouldn’t think that I would. *shrug*
